Radon Testing for REALTORS® & Inspectors in Raleigh-Durham & Surrounding Areas

As Triangle home buyers become more aware of the health risks of radon exposure, they are often asking their home inspectors for radon testing services. The U.S. EPA and Surgeon General recommend that all homes be tested for radon, and it's an important service to include in your inspection package.

Raleigh Radon was born out of the inspection industry, so we fully understand your needs and the needs of your clients. We'll help you provide quick and reliable radon testing services to your clients without any additional equipment, liability, or travel time.

Residential Radon Tests for Home Inspectors

Although personally testing homes for radon can be a significant source of supplementary income for home inspectors, it also involves hassles, liabilities, and training.

With Raleigh Radon, you can avoid the hassle of returning to a property a few days after a home inspection to pick up the charcoal canisters or radon monitor, delivering or mailing the canisters to the laboratory, and waiting up to a week for the results. In addition, there’s no need to stress about non-compliance with "closed-house" requirements and motion errors.

When you work with us, you can offer radon testing services to your clients in Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill and surrounding areas, and we'll do all the leg work. Not only do we conduct the radon test and make all property access arrangements — we also ensure that the builder, seller, listing agent, and/or contractors are fully aware of the closed-house requirements.

We'll send the report to you and/or your clients the same day the testing period is complete, so you'll no longer have to wait many days to receive test results.

Contact us today to see how we can help you easily supplement your income and expand your service offerings.

If you've never used our services before, we'd love to meet you to answer any of your questions and to acquaint you with our services and our company.

Why Choose Raleigh Radon for Home Radon Detection in Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill & Beyond?

Raleigh Radon is proud to provide convenient, certified radon testing throughout the Greater Triangle area.

Flexible & Accessible Scheduling

To be as accessible as possible, we provide three different ways to schedule a radon test:

We'll be sure to confirm your request for a radon test within a few business hours, if not immediately. For last-minute testing or time-sensitive questions, please give us a call.

Please keep in mind the timeframe (48-hour testing period) when scheduling, as well as the "closed-house" requirements. We understand that everyone’s timeline is different, so we have the options of starting tests 7 days a week. Although it is not ideal, we do often conduct last-minute radon testing.

Convenient Property Access

All Raleigh Radon field employees are TMLS subscribers and can be given lockbox combinations or schedule appointments through Showing Time. When lock box access is not available, we can arrange property access with the listing/on-site agent or seller. Of course, we're always happy to meet with buyers and/or their agents to answer any questions at all.

Immediate, Unbiased Results

With our continuous radon monitors, Raleigh Radon will know the results of your radon test immediately upon test completion. If you're in a time crunch, we can notify you of the results at that time. We'll always send a complete, easy-to-read radon test report to you by email the same day, often within a few hours of test completion.

We only use digital monitors, which automatically calculate the test results. Because we are not a laboratory, we have no way of altering the test results in anyone's favor. (In fact, many builders are now requiring that radon tests be conducted with such digital/electronic monitors.)

In addition, we’re certified by the American Association of Radon Scientists and Technologists' National Radon Proficiency Program (AARST-NRPP), and all testing is conducted according to EPA protocols.

Flexible Payment Options

Every client's schedule and financial situation is different, so we're happy to accept payment through any of the following methods:

  • Payment in person at the start or completion of the test
  • Payment online

To simplify the process and maintain competitive pricing, we prefer that clients pay at the time of service.

Price-Match Guarantee

To receive a price quote on our Raleigh-Durham radon testing services, please contact Raleigh Radon. Our prices are very competitive, and we guarantee to match or beat the fees of our local competitors, whether certified or not.

We want all Triangle REALTORS to feel completely comfortable with and confident in our services.
