As the daughter of a local custom home builder, Lindsay grew up running around construction sites and getting in the way of any contractor she could find. By the time she was in high school, her dad had become a very thorough home inspector, and she spent her summers shadowing him (while strategically avoiding the infamous crawlspace portion of the inspection). Her college summers were spent working with local real estate agents, and she earned her real estate license at 19. After experiencing two semesters abroad and graduating with the highest distinction from UNC Chapel Hill with a degree in Business Administration, she decided to return to her roots in real estate.
A green industry grant through the City of Raleigh enabled Lindsay to become certified as a USGBC LEED Green Associate, HERS energy rater, BPI Building Analyst, and Indoor Air Quality specialist. Combining her interest in green building and indoor air quality, she started Raleigh Radon to improve the indoor environment in her local community.
As homes have become “tighter” with green building techniques and improvements in energy efficiency, radon has become an increasingly relevant concern. Lindsay has witnessed this first-hand in her own home, as the radon levels in her basement significantly increased after sealing the masonry walls and gaps around windows/doors.
Lindsay lives in her hometown of Raleigh with her husband, Justin, and toddler, Siggi. Much of their free time is spent either with their extended family or creating a forest farm in their future town of Hillsborough. They hope to move out to their 10-acre homestead by the time Siggi is in school!
Angie is our office manager and has been with Raleigh Radon since April 2015. She's happy to help you with scheduling a radon test, paying your invoice, and answering any questions you may have.
She is a Florida native and graduated from Florida State University with a bachelors degree in Marketing (she claims to bleed garnet and gold). She moved to North Carolina in 2009 and currently lives in Greensboro. In her spare time, Angie enjoys taking her dog for walks, traveling, and attending concerts and sporting events.

Before joining the Raleigh Radon team in 2014, Megan graduated Magna Cum Laude from the College of William and Mary with degrees in English and Art. She then worked in museums throughout the country and in Italy, where she earned a Masters degree in Museum Studies in 2012. (Megan and Lindsay first met in Italy in 2007 during a different study abroad program!)
Outside of her time in the radon-mobile, Megan volunteers at Neighbor 2 Neighbor and at Church on Morgan. She is an active artist, with a mural on the corner of Morgan and Person Streets in downtown Raleigh and regular commissions for paintings - including three large pieces at the Raleigh Radon headquarters.

Justin met Lindsay in 2012 through mutual friend, Sally Claire, when Raleigh Radon was still just a one-woman business. The past six years have seen Justin and Lindsay marry, have a daughter (Siggi), and Raleigh Radon grow into a healthy business of seven friends and family. Justin earned a Bachelors of Science in Horticulture with a minor in Industrial Engineering from NC State University and has since become a licensed North Carolina home inspector, licensed real estate agent and certified radon measurement professional.
Having a passion for the natural world and a particular love of plants Justin spends his free time gardening, renovating their Raleigh home, and developing their 10-acre forest farm in Hillsborough. Siggi is his regular companion on garden walks and trips to Hillsborough, where she is quickly learning to appreciate the wonders of nature.
